A Sanctuary in the Justice System

Court proceedings can be intimidating and re-traumatizing—especially for children and survivors of domestic violence. We are raising funds to create a trauma-informed “Soft Room” inside the Aransas County Courthouse.

This dedicated space provides a calming, healing environment for children navigating family court, protective orders, or victim interviews, as well as women seeking justice after domestic or sexual assault.
